S/O to Brian McKnight for making my newest blog segment OH HELL NO!

Now, if you haven’t already heard, the soulful crooner Brian McKnight, known for such melodies as Crazy Love, Anytime and my personal favorite Never Felt Like This Way is putting out what I can only describe as a Pap Smear Music.
Monday, he posted a preview of his newest music idea “Adult Mixtape”. Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound hot and def not sexy. It sounds like something a pedophile would be singing outside a middle school holding a pair of Jordans, some gold hoop earrings and a pack of gummy bears. YUCK! #GetYoLife Brian and go Back To One. SERIOUSLY

365 Days to Oprah #heyOprah

Day - 1 March 12th
Formerly #twitterbffs, #heyOprah is my new twitter campaign to create my chance to meet the Queen of Media, the unprecedented trendsetter, Fairy Godmother, Shero to women around the world and America’s favorite auntie Oprah Winfrey. Yes I made that last part up, don’t judge.
It was always my dream to meet Oprah, sit on the famed couch and talk with her about something amazing that I’d done to change the world.  Unfortunately the show ended before I got a chance to figure that out and get my invitation. But like Oprah always says…Uh…Okay I can’t think of a fitting quote right now but I’m sure she’s said something fitting to this effort.
Basically the doors closed and I’m opening a window.
For the next 365 days I’ll be tweeting Oprah Winfrey my thoughts, feeling, triumphs, EpicFAILS and more until she tweets me back and invites me to meet her or until my 365 days is up or I get a twitter restraining order. And to raise the stakes, I’m counting on all my friends/fans/followers to help spread the word by retweeting my tweets with “#heyOprah” when you see them.
Let’s make this happen friends! Not only for me but to prove that day dreamers, slackers and undiagnosed chronic procrastinators can make their dreams come true. Won’t you join this journey with me?
